Equus Festival 2025
Saturday May 3rd & 4th 
Enumclaw Expo Center
Registration CLOSES Wednesday April 30th at 8pm

We are so excited to see you at Equus!  This event is only open to enrolled 4-H members.

Please read below for all the important details about this event.

GERNAL INFO​

• Cost is $25 per day

• This event is for 4H members only

• Please see the parking map above THE ROUTE IS DIFFERENT FOR THIS EVENT.  There will be signs to guide you in.

• The showmanship pattern will be posted on Thursday at 5pm

• You can haul in Friday evening after 5pm, Saturday after 7am  or Sunday after 9am

• Please check in at office, when you arrive

• There isn’t a dress code for the event. Heeled boots, riding pants and helmet are required whenever mounted. 

• All buckets need to be hung from the stall wall.  Please do not leave buckets on the ground in the stall.

PARKING

• VERY IMPORTANT - please see 'Parking Map' link above.  It will indicate where to enter the fairgrounds.

• Signs will be set up in the Fairgrounds, to direct you where to go.

• Trailers can come into the Fairgrounds but must park outside of the grounds, after you've unloaded, in the North Lot.

• Please bring a pitch fork, dust pan/shovel and broom to clean out your stall and/or around your trailer.  Wheelbarrows will be provided.

• PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE ON THE GRASS.  The fairgrounds has a hefty fine of $350 for driving/parking on the grass.

 

STALLS

• ​​PLEASE ONLY DUMP BEDDING IN THE CORNER AREA.  Will we point out where this is at our morning meeting.

• Horses are welcome to use a stall for the day or the weekend at no additional charge. 

• Bedding is not provided.  

• $50 fee if you leave without cleaning your stall or the isle way in front. ​​​​

FACILITY

We're fortunate to have access to the Expo facility at a reduced rate, which we pass onto you.  Please leave things as you found them or better.  

• Pick up all of your garbage

• Clean stalls out completely after use

• Pick up horse poop in gravel areas

• Clean up around your trailer in the parking lot​​​

JUDGING

• WHAT TO BRING:

  • Camping Chair

  • Clip Board

  • Pen or Pencil

  • Paper to write on

  • Judging sheets listed in the Judging tab above

• These items WILL NOT be provided.

GROOM SQUAD

• Kids will need to make teams of 3, there will be a sign up in the barn on Friday.

• The top Senior team can go to state but it must be a team only made up of Seniors.

• Mixed age division teams can participate but are not state eligible and the test taker must be from the older age division.

JUMPING CLINIC

• If you are participating in the jumping clinic, you will need to ride in an English saddle.

CAMPING

• If you're planning on camping over the weekend we are using the North Enumclaw Expo Center RV campground.

• The gate to and from the Expo center to the campground will be unlocked (gate #1).
