Marble Surface

Equus Festival - March 26th & 27th 2022

We are so excited to see you at Equus!  Please read below for all the important details about this weekend’s event.

Haul Ins:

Horses are welcome to come for the day on Saturday or stay Friday and Saturday night in the stalls.  If they are staying for the weekend, please bring an adequate amount of shavings.  If they are coming for the day on Saturday, you don't need to bring shavings, unless you'd like to.  Please bring a pitch fork and broom to clean out your stall. Wheelbarrows will be available.

Unfortunately due to our very wet spring, the South Parking Lot/Camperville is too wet to park in.  We'd like everyone to park in the North Parking Lot.  Please click on the Parking Information tab above to see where this is located.  Horse trailers can't enter the Expo Center.  You can unhitch and drive your truck in through Gate #1, to bring in your tack or walk it in.  Please DO NOT DRIVE ON THE GRASS.  The Expo Center will fine you $350, if you drive on the grass.

Check In:

  • Friday night arrivals - gate and office open at 5pm

  • Saturday morning arrivals - gates open at 7am, office check in from 7:30-8:30am

  • Sunday morning arrivals - gates open at 7am, office will be open at 9am

Liability Waiver:

In order to ride at this event you will NEED to have your parent or guardian fill out a medical release waiver. Please CLICK HERE to print out your waiver and have it signed and ready at check in. We'll also have blank copies for parents/guardians to sign at check in.  If you are registered in 4H we already have your waiver on file, so no need to fill out another one.

Remind Text:

Please sign up for Remind Text.  We will use this to communicate information to you during the weekend.

Saturday Morning Meeting:

Our morning meeting with start at 8:30am outside of the horse barn by the warm up arena.  This is a chance for your child to ask any questions they have about the weekend.  Our mock show will begin after the meeting at 9:00.

Jumping Clinic:

If you are participating in the jumping clinic, you will need to ride in an english saddle. If you don't have one, please let us know and we will see if we can find an extra one for you to use.

Manure Clean Up:

If you tie to your trailer, please pick up any manure left in the parking lot and take it home with you.  If you use a stall, please bring a pitch fork and clean your stall (and aisle in front of your stall) thoroughly.  There will be wheelbarrows available and a place to dump the manure.

Water Buckets:

All buckets need to be hung from the stall wall.  Please do not leave buckets on the ground in the stall.

Dress Code:

There isn’t a dress code for the event or the mock show. Kids are welcome to dress up for the show but it’s optional. Heeled boots, riding pants and helmet are required.

There won't be food for sale this weekend.  There are plenty of fast food places nearby or you can bring a sack lunch.

If you have any questions, please contact Rebecca Roper at or 206-713-0197
